    5 Even though Pidgin supports ICQ, it lags behind the official client in many respects. Some features are missing altogether; some are present, but their implementation is lacking. What I'd like to do with this project is to bring Pidgin as close as possible to the official client in terms of user experience.
     5Make Pidgin's ICQ prpl resemble the official client more, which means both introducing some new features and improving the existing ones.

     7== Things to do (a rough draft) ==
     8 * Privacy. Implement functions manipulating Visible, Invisible, and Block Lists and then build a GUI on top of them.
     9 * Fix encoding issues. Refactor the code related to encodings to make it more readable.
     10 * Make file transfer more reliable. Test it under various network conditions.
     11 * Polish the GUI, implementing those dialogs from the official client Pidgin doesn't have counterparts for ("Find Buddy", "Set User Info").
